It’s official: we’re goin’ to Dragon*Con!

Look for us (John and David) at this year’s Dragon*Con, the largest pop culture convention in the United States (perhaps the world).  Dragon*Con 2009 will be held Labor Day weekend (Sep 4 – 7, 2009) in Atlanta, GA.  Sure, the ‘Con focuses mostly on science fiction, fantasy and horror, but it also features a complete Skeptics Track, organized by Derek and Swoopy of Skepticality fame.  Last year’s guests included James “The Amazing” Randi, Phil Plait, George Hrab, Soccergirl, Ben Radford, Lori Lipman Brown, and lots more.  For more visit DragonCon.org.

It’s way too early for schedules and guest lists for 2009, but we hope to slip in another live episode of American Freethought.  Tickets for the full 4-day convention are $80 through May 15th, and if you’re coming from out of town, you are well-advised to book your hotel rooms NOW (it’s probably already too late to get a room at any of the four hotels hosting the ‘Con, but there are other hotels within walking distance that may still be available.
