Jesus, Interrupted

I read Biblical scholar Bart Ehrman’s excellent Misquoting Jesus (a great resource that dispels the notion that the Bible is inerrant and without contradiction) a couple of years ago.  Ehrman’s latest book is Jesus, Interrupted: Revealing the Hidden Contraditions in the Bible (And Why We Don’t Know about Them), which tackles the inconsistences of the New Testament.  Ehrman was interviewed last week on NPR’s Fresh Air.

I listened to the interview and it is excellent, a very detailed discussion of the contradictions in the Gospels especially.

  2. Danny says:

I can’t seem to get the interview to play in my browsers. Can someone rip the audio and upload it? Thanks.

  3. Danny, I had a problem getting it to download the first time, but I went back a few minutes later and no problem. I’m using Firefox, for what it’s worth. Thanks! John
