20th Century Twain this weekend!

If you’re in Atlanta this Sunday, March 20th, drop by the Humanists of Georgia monthly meeting to hear Yours Truly talk about “20th Century Twain: Mark Twain’s Final Years and Freethought Legacy.”  The meeting starts at 12:30 at the Atlanta Freethought Hall.  Meanwhile, here’s the only film footage ever made of Mark Twain–and by no less than Thomas Edison!  Random trivia:  No audio recordings of Mark Twain exist, which is strange considering what a technophile he was.  You’d have thought he’d have been first in line to record himself on the newfangled phonograph.  Alas, no.
