Podcast #135 – Vic Losick (In God We Teach)

We interview documentary filmmaker Vic Losick about his new movie In God We Teach, which explores the recent controversy involving Kearny, New Jersey public school student Matthew LaClair, who secretly recorded history teacher David Paszkiewicz and his fundamentalist Christian rants. The Kearny Incident became a cause célèbre with church-state separationists as well as Christian Nation boosters (although for totally different reasons). See the film and decide for yourself who won.

In God We Teach will be playing on Tuesday, November 1st at the Newseum in Washington, DC. Vic Losick will be there, of course, and American Freethought’s David Driscoll will be in attendance. Tickets are free, but you do have to RSVP. Contact Ashley Hamilton at ahamilton@freedomforum.org or (202) 292-6288 to secure a seat.
