Generation Atheist

We’ve been reading for years now that young folks are increasing nonreligious (or, at the very least, unaffiliated with any religious denomination). WHY this is so has been the subject of much speculation. Now a new book by Dan Riley may hold some of the answers.

Generation Atheist profiles young atheists from around the world, including Jessica Ahlquist (who challenged her Cranston, RI high school’s prayer banner), blogger Jennifer McCreight, Hemant “The Friendly Atheist” Mehta, and rational rapper Greydon Square.

Whether you’re a budding atheist who’s afraid of “coming out of the closet,” or an older believer who just doesn’t “get” kids these days, Generation Atheist will have something to offer you.  It’s available in paperback or for Kindle.
