ludovickennedyNovember 3, 1919 – British journalist and activist Sir Ludovic Kennedy is born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He advocated against the death penalty and for assisted suicide. He was a supporter of the British Humanist Association, the National Secular Society and the Humanist Society of Scotland. He was the author of several books, including Euthanasia: The Case for a Good Death and All in the Mind: A Farewell to God. He died in 2009, aged 89.
